MY FAIR LADY

TIME: Beginning at 7:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Way Off Broadway, 5 Willowdale Drive, Frederick, MD

Those interested should bring a headshot and resume, as well as 16 bars of prepared music and be ready to sing, dance, and read from the script.  All roles are open and non-union paying.  Those auditioning should be 18 or older.  No appointment is necessary and an accompanist will be provided.

SHOW INFORMATION
Eliza Doolittle is a young flower seller with an unmistakable Cockney accent which keeps her in the lower rungs of Edwardian society.  When Professor Henry Higgins tries to teach her how to speak like a proper lady, an unlikely friendship begins to flourish.  This Broadway classic features one of musical theatre’s greatest scores, including “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?,” “With a Little Bit of Luck,” “The Rain in Spain,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “On the Street Where You Live,” “Get Me to the Church on Time,” and “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.”
 
My Fair Lady will run from March 22nd through June 1st with performances every Friday and Saturday evening and matinees on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month.  There will also be a special added matinee for Mother’s Day on May 12th.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Rehearsals will begin shortly after auditions with rehearsals 2 – 3 evenings a week.  Beginning the week of Sunday, 17th, rehearsals will be every evening leading up to Opening Night.

Please note, auditions for Way Off Broadway's summer production of Mamma Mia! will be held on Monday, April 1st.  Additional information will be posted after the My Fair Lady auditions have concluded.
