INSTRUCTORS

TINA M. BRULEY has been teaching music and theatre for Frederick County Public Schools for over 20 years.  During that time, she developed and piloted the middle school theatre arts course that has become so popular in Frederick County.  In fact, Frederick is the only county in the state that offers a middle school elective course in theatre due to her efforts.  In 2000, she received a Fulbright Scholarship to go to Japan to study Japanese theatre.  In addition, she was awarded the Charles E. Tressler Teacher of the Year Award from Hood College in 2004.  Tina has directed and assisted with 60+ musical theatre productions in both public school and community theatre, as well as having music directed productions here at Way Off Broadway.

JAIMIE HOOVER is a graduate of Towson University with a degree in Physical Education and currently teaches middle school in the Howard County Public School System.  Jaimie is also an instructor and choreographer at the Dee Buchanan Studio of Dance in Middletown, Maryland.  Having been dancing and performing for over 20 years, she has been seen in productions of Gypsy (Gypsy Rose Lee), Chicago (Roxie Hart), and Damn Yankees (Lola), and dancing in the 2005 Kennedy Center Gala.  She made her Way Off Broadway debut as Joleen Oakes in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and went on to choreograph WOB's 2011 production of Hairspray.

BILL KISKA is Way Off Broadway's Executive Producer and has been one of the theatre's owners and chief executive since 2002. However, his performing and educational credits go back well before his time at Way Off Broadway. Having earned a degree in Music and Theatre from Duquesne University, he performed with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, both in Pittsburgh and during its European Tour while he was in college. After graduating, he taught Music and Theatre in Pennsylvania area schools before finally moving to Maryland. As a director, he has been responsible for bring such shows as Oliver!, The King and I, Hello, Dolly!, . . . Forum, The Wizard of Oz, Forever Plaid, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Evita, South Pacific, Hairspray, and the regional premieres of Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl - The Musical and The Wedding Singer to the stage, just to name a few of his favorites. He has also appeared in countless productions over the years, with his favorite roles being Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music and Georges in the area premiere of Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein's smash-hit musical comedy La Cage aux Folles.

JORDAN B. STOCKSDALE is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory with a major in Musical Theatre and a minor in Piano. He is Way Off Broadway's Creative Director and the Founding Artistic Director of Stocking Productions, an independent theatrical production company. Aside from being a performer, having appeared at theatres throughout the Maryland/Virginia region, he has served as Musical Director and Assistant Music Director for countless productions and has also been an instructor through the FUN Company at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre.
