ALL SHOOK UP
April 9 - June 5, 2010

Continuing Way Off Broadway's tradition of bringing theatre firsts to the Frederick area, the music of Elvis Presley takes to the stage for a rockin' Western Maryland premiere.  This fast-paced, fun loving musical romp is the perfect show to usher in the spring!

All Shook Up is an exuberant jukebox musical that will have audiences dancing in the aisles!  The time is 1955 when a mysterious motorcycling stranger comes to a square town in a square state and changes it and the lives of everyone he meets forever.  This loopy tale of mismatched lovers in a Midwest burg incorporates classics that range from sweet romantic ballads like "Love Me Tender" to the rollicking "Devil in Disguise."  Not to mention other hits like "Jailhouse Rock," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and "Don't be Cruel."  Driven by sidesplitting tongue-in-cheek humor, The King's chart-toppers, and a tinge of genuine heart, All Shook Up is destined to become a WOB classic.  The story is all new - the hits are all Elvis!

The show first burst onto the Great White Way in early 2005 when it opened at the Palace Theatre.  While the critics did not rank All Shook Up as one of their favorite shows, audiences fell in love.  Proving once again, critics don't always get it right.  Since its first production, All Shook Up has been produced at regional and community theatres across the country, always becoming an instant hit with theatre-goers.

JORDAN STOCKSDALE (Chad, Musical Director): has appeared on the WOB stage in The Full Monty (Jerry), Another Radio Christmas (Jordie Jordan), The Producers (Max), Cats (Rum Tum Tugger), The Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart), Evita (Che), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Jimmy Smith), Forever Plaid (Sparky), and Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik), as well as numerous Children's Theatre productions and the theatre's original murder mysteries. A graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory with a degree in Musical Theatre, he is the founding Artistic Director of Stocking Productions, where he has portrayed the roles of Gordon Schwinn in A New Brain and Frank N Furter in Rocky Horror. Last season's production of Cats marked Jordan's musical directing debut here at WOB, where he also serves as the Artistic Coordinator. He has performed in theatres throughout the Maryland-Virginia region with some favorite credits including Robber Bridegroom (Jamie Lockheart), Seussical (The Cat in the Hat), and the Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

ASHLEY PARKER (Sylvia): is excited about her debut at WOB. She would like to thank her mom, daughter, family, and friends for their support. She has appeared in Aida (Aida), Ragtime (Sarah), Dreamgirls (Lorell), Once on this Island (Erzulie), Grease (Jan), and Sophisticated Ladies.

ANN DAVIS (Miss Sandra, u/s Natalie):
is personally responsible for bringing you this unknown little gem of a show. "You're welcome." When she gave Justin the CD, to which he and the family quickly became addicted, her original plan was to play third-girl-from-the-left-singing-alto, a role she has perfected over the years, but getting to play two of the principles (and having sung Sylvia's solo on New Year's Eve) is acceptable, as well.

TAYLOR WHIDDEN (Miss Sandra, Swing):
returns to the Mainstage after playing Georgie in The Full Monty. She made her WOB debut last season, appearing in The Wedding Singer, Cats (Bombalurina), The Producers (Ulla), and Another Radio Christmas (Christie LeMont). A Musical Theatre graduate from Wilkes University, she has been involved in more than 50 theatrical productions with some of her favorite credits including Joseph . . . Dreamcoat (Narrator), Into the Woods (Baker's Wife), and Bat Boy (Meredith Parker). Taylor would like to thank the amazing gang at WOB for another amazing experience.

JONNY KIGIN (Jim Haller): returns to the WOB stage after having last appeared as Dave Bukatinski in The Full Monty. Other WOB appearances include Cats (Deuteronomy), Evita (Magaldi), The Sound of Music (Max), Lend Me a Tenor (Tito), Forever Plaid (Francis), Oklahoma! (Curly), Grease (Teen Angel), and the Christmas shows - his favorites. When not strutting his stuff on stage at WOB, Jonny can be found in similar fashion across the street at Giant Eagle. He would like to thank his wife, Jana, and kids, Lily, Molly, Patrick, and Catelyn for their love and support.

P.J. SCHWEIZER (Dennis): is thrilled to be making his WOB debut! He graduated from Catholic University (BM) and this past fall toured nationally in the leading role of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing with Two Beans Productions and Theatreworks, USA. Favorite regional roles: Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Tom Sawyer (Tom Sawyer), and Seussical (Horton).

PATRICIA TARGETE (Lorraine): is excited to be making her debut at WOB, reprising one of her favorite roles. She has performed in the DC area with The Kennedy Center, Discovery Theatre, and Washington Savoyards. She is thankful for this opportunity.

A.J. DORSEY (Dean): is making his fifth Mainstage appearance at WOB. He was last seen as the Announcer in Another Radio Christmas. A.J. has also appeared in many of WOB's Children's Theatre productions including Pinocchio, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Santa's Gift. Favorite roles include Zombie Prom (Jonny Warner), Grease (Eugene), Bye Bye, Birdie (Hugo Peabody), Happy Birthday Wanda June (Paul Ryan), High School Musical (Ryan Evans), and Into the Woods (Jack). Next year A.J. plans to follow his dreams in New York City. He would like to thank his amazing and supportive family.

SUSAN THORNTON (Mayor Matilda Hyde): is glad to be working with a cast that keeps their clothes on after having directed The Full Monty! She has been acting and directing in the Maryland-Virginia-West Virginia area for 30 years. When not at WOB, Susan teaches at Dance Unlimited and directs the shows at Middletown high School.

GARY BERNARD DiNARDO (Sheriff Earl): is proud to tread the WOB boards once again in All Shook Up. Audiences last saw him as Ethan Gerard in The Full Monty. A graduate of The University of Pittsburgh, Gary's favorite appearances include Children of Eden (Cain/Japeth), Levitation  (Ira Sherman), and Mel Brooks' The Producers (Carmen Ghia). He would like to thank his family for their support, the Kiskas for their trust, and Jordan for his inspiration.  "Applause is the closest I feel to what I know to be God."

JESSICA BILLONES (Ensemble): is excited to be returning to the WOB stage having last been seen as Muzzie in Thoroughly Modern Millie. She would like to thank her family for their continued support and God for his many blessings.

CHELSEA BONDARENKO (Ensemble):
is thrilled to be part of this show! She was last seen at WOB as Jellylorum in Cats. Favorite appearances include A Chorus Line (Diana Morales), Godspell (Gilmer), and How to Succeed . . . (Rosemary). Thanks go out to her parents for all the support. Enjoy the show!

REBECCA FAYE SHORR (Ensemble):
is excited to be back at WOB, even though she doesn't have the pleasure of performing as a skating nun or an Imelda Marcos impersonator. Favorite shows include Fiddler on the Roof, The Wedding Singer, and The Awesome 80s Prom! She'd like to thank her amazing family and friends, especially the ones that put up with her on a daily basis!

JEREMY TRAMMELLE (Ensemble):
may be remembered from his appearances in The Full Monty, The Producers (Leo Bloom), The Wedding Singer, Evita, and Thoroughly Modern Millie here at WOB. He would like to thank Bill, Amanda, and Jordan for this opportunity, as well as the Kiska family, and his family and friends. Much love!

A.C. MARTIN (u/s Matilda):
was sitting in a diner in the Carolinas when a gum-smacking waitress announced that "The King is dead." She wants to dedicate her performance to that waitress and the folks at the diner who mourned that day - and to peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Enjoy the show!

JOE DiPIETRO (Book):
wrote the book and lyrics to the international hit I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.
