ALL SHOOK UP
April 9 - June 5, 2010

Shakespeare meets James Dean, all set to the music of Elvis Presley in this exuberant jukebox musical!  In 1955, a mysterious motorcycling stranger comes to a square town in a square state and changes it and the lives of everyone he meets forever.  This loopy tale of mismatched lovers in a Midwest burg incorporates classics that range from sweet romantic ballads like "Love Me Tender" to the rollicking "Devil in Disguise."  Not to mention other hits like "Jailhouse Rock," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and "Don't be Cruel."  Driven by sidesplitting tongue-in-cheek humor, The King's chart-toppers, and a tinge of genuine heart, All Shook Up is destined to become a Way Off Broadway classic.  The story is all new - the hits are all Elvis!

THE FULL MONTY
January 29 - March 27, 2010

Six unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York are miserable.  They have no cash and no prospects.  Meanwhile, they catch their wives and other women going crazy over male strippers during their "Girls' Night Out."  The six men then set out to make some quick cash showing off their 'real man' bodies by becoming a team of male strippers.  As the guys work through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties they find strength as a group and overcome their inner demons.  In the process they find renewed self-esteem, the importance of friendship, and the ability to have fun.  The Full Monty has been an instant audience favorite at every theatre where it has appeared.  Now, for the first time, it comes to Frederick.

DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS
September 10 - November 7, 2010

Based on the popular 1988 film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels centers on two con men living on the French Riviera.  The first is the suave and sophisticated Lawrence Jameson, who makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money.  The other, a small-time crook named Freddy Benson, more humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother's failing health.  At first Lawrence takes Freddy under his wing, but when the two end up going head-to-head to try and be the first to take American soap queen Christine Colgate for $50,000, their plotting and scheming leads to twists, turns, laughs, and a surprise ending.

NUNSENSE A-MEN!
June 18 - August 29, 2010

Dan Goggin's Nunsense series is one of the most popular and funny sets of shows ever, and have become sensations around the world and right here at Way Off Broadway.  Nunsense and Nunsense 2: The Second Coming were huge hits at WOB when they were parts of the 2005 and 2007 Seasons.  After a short hiatus, it's time for the Little Sisters of Hoboken to return to the theatre.  However, this time, there's a twist.  A big one!  The nuns are all played by men!  That's right.  Male performers don the nuns' habits and bring you the original storyline in this hilarious 'rethought' version.  Nunsense A-Men! can best be described as "Mrs. Doubtfire enters the Convent."  It's too funny to miss!
